Job Description

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, financial reporting, and ensuring the organization's financial stability and compliance.


Purpose

To lead and manage financial accounting, reporting, and control functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
  • Provide financial guidance to senior management.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assess and improve internal controls and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards.
